Overview

Toolbeel ("we", "us") provides free browser-based tools at toolbeel.com. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site. We designed Toolbeel so that most of what you'd normally worry about — your files, your text, your calculator inputs — never has a reason to leave your device.

Your files and tool inputs

Every image, PDF, text, JSON snippet or calculator value you enter into a Toolbeel tool is processed locally using your browser's built-in capabilities (such as the Canvas, File and Web Crypto APIs). This content is not uploaded to our servers, is not stored by us, and is not sent to any third party. When you close the tab or refresh the page, it's gone.

Information we collect automatically

Our web host may collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and requested page) for security and operational purposes, as is typical for any website. We do not currently run any first-party analytics or tracking scripts — the analytics hook present in our code is inactive and does not send any data.

Cookies and advertising

Toolbeel is supported by display advertising. When ads are active on this site, our advertising partners (such as Google) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance. These partners may collect information about your visits to this and other websites to provide relevant advertising. You can control or opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or via Google's Ads Settings.

No accounts, no sign-up

Toolbeel does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect names, passwords, or payment information.

Children's privacy

Toolbeel is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves, for example when we add new advertising or analytics features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
